MAN IN GLASGOW – PREMIERE!!!

EXCITING NEWS EVERYONE - FINALLY – THE SCOTTISH PREMIERE OF THE MAN FOR A DAY FILM!!!

The MAN FOR A DAY feature film by Berlin filmmaker, Katarina Peters which premiered at the Berlinale Film Festival in February 2012 will be shown publicly for the first time in Scotland as part of the Glasgay Festival.  There are two screenings at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow at 6pm and 8.30pm on Sunday, October 27, 2013. http://glasgay.co.uk/category/whatson/film/

The MAN FOR A DAY film was co-funded by Creative Scotland/ZDF/Medien Board.  It was co-produced by media-co-op, Glasgow and Katarina Peters Film Produktion, Berlin.  Both Louise Scott of media co-op and myself will be present.   In addition, and courtesy of the Goethe Institute, the filmmaker, Katarina Peters, will also be present for a Q and A after each showing.   The last time we were all present for the film showing was at the premiere of MAN FOR A DAY at the Berlinale in February 2012.  I am very much looking forward to this opportunity for the film to be shown in my home town for the first time.  Big thanks to Steven Thomson of Glasgay! for making this possible.
